A visit

Last week a new friend invited my sister in law and her boys and me and my girls out to her home in Camp Mountain. Camp Mt is just around the corner on the way to the big girl's school, less than 10 minutes drive. Her family lives on 5 acres and have sheep, chickens and a wonderful vegie patch, plus banana, lemondade (valencia orange/lemon) and papya trees. They also have a rather fun mound of dirt!

 We pulled up loads of sweet potato leaves to feed the sheep, both little ones and sheep thoroughly enjoyed it

 The wee miss stopped to have a chat with the chooks

 the boys dug for potatoes


and the wee one explored a bit; her big sister ran off exploring somewhere up a tree and I didn't see her til home time!
