Sigh

This is me at some point almost every day...

*I would love to give credit for this cartoon but I found it on stalker book (aka Facebook) and have no idea where it actually came from.

Ha ha ha ha! Yep, I can relate. And I'm not even the dinner preparer in my family.

wow, I think it's a disease. I have threatened my family that I am just going to put a trough on the table.

sigh, indeed... I've never threatened my family with a trough, but have threatened to serve bowls of cold breakfast cereal for supper (and my husband does know better than to complain about anything I prepare because my inevitable response will be a sweet smile and the the words, "Ah, lovely! so then what will YOU be preparing for supper tomorrow?"

I can't agree more. Hadn't thought of a trough - what a brillant idea. The image needs to have dinner in a slot so you can insert other family foibles: clothes washed, ironed, lunch, school bag packed, beds made....

that is so funny...I was just thinking "what are we going to have for dinner tonight". I find it hard to understand that we have this ritual which we take part in EVERY night and yet we still can't think of what to have most nights.
I love Friday nights as we have Pizza from the local wood fire pizza place in town and we don't have to think at all!!!

Indeed! I have just recently started meal plans, helps a whole lot though when I have to sit down each second Friday and work out two weeks of meals I feel like pulling my hair out!
