I think it is beautiful anyway, I had a hand in it (only a little hand mind you but i filled my square with good wishes and neat stiches). You can, if you fancy, read more about the creation of this quilt over at Melissa's blog Quilting for Happiness because really it would not have been at all except for her (Oh and baby Otto who I met just the other day).

Which one is yours? They ae all so clever.
What is Melissa going to do with it?
It was a birth blessing quilt given to Jo on the birth of her third baby - Melissa coordinated and quilted the finished squares together. Jo was the Qld maternity coalition president for many years and did other good things too. Mine is the babuska doll on the right ( I like to think of her as a symbol of fertility - the mother within the mother)
What a joy it was to coordinate Jo's quilt. I'm so glad you got to see it in real life!
