Wednesday Craft Group - Clay Sun Catchers

In the midst of our winter Twig and Toadstool were enjoying their summer beach week over in the northern hemisphere and they made the most beautiful beach mobiles. Well, now the weather is warming up here; 300C today and I grabbed hold of Maureen's idea with two hands.
This week at craft we got our hands dirty with a little bit of air drying clay and played with a table full of pretty sparkling things to make sun catchers ~

pretty hey... Thanks Maureen :)

On a side note ~ today I saw that the local fruit and veg shop is selling carving pumpkins for $30 each! Has anyone seen a more expensive pumpkin? I set the challenge, find the most expensive pumpkin this season. cheers, S

Very nice! I cant believe it was 30 there today! I think we may have got to a top of 20 and the kids wore wetsuits in the backyard to run through the house lol

I would love to hear more about your craft group--what ages are involved, how many are in the group, and how is it organized? I am interested in perhaps starting one (for kids? or for mamas?) up here in my neck of the woods :^)
