It is very difficult trying to think of something to say after such a long absence but...I'll throw a few of my highlights at you.
Lavender (the chook) finally starting laying her beautiful blue eggs.
I've made some wooden stuff (I got a scroll saw for Christmas, WooHooo!)
and we had a most splendiferous holiday by the beach; while there I read three books (most seriously indulgent don't you agree?)
ok, I'll be back soon.

You have been busy and happy...no need to apologize, but welcome back.
What pretty eggs! I am hoping to add a couple / few / handful(chicken math) Aracunas to our flock next year. :)Whatever I can get away with with my husband. ;)
Your animals came out super cute! I hope you are having as much fun with your scroll saw as I have been having with mine.
And reading time at the beach sounds absolutely *dreamy*, I wouldn't regret missing out on blogging for it, not one bit. :)

Ohhh lovely araucana eggs.
YOU GOT A SCROLL SAW! And have ALREADY made wonderful things (I left mine in the box for far too many months)! I can't wait to see what else you come up with, because you are gifted. And inspiring.
And my toenails would get along well with your toenails :-)
Those wooden animals are gorgeous!! How talented of you :) Blue egges.. Love!
oh, oh, oh - gotta get my scroll saw up and running. Love the fox I bought to match Margaret's. Have wanted to make many in the worst way. Now you show me these, and I am coveting again. Well done!
